Why do you call pants pants? or jeans jeans? its only pair why is it plural?!
Question: yes, but they have two legs which make up a majority of the material...where as a t-shirt, (singular) the sleeves only make up a portion of it as a whole. the part the covers your torso is that majority of the material, and it's only ONE piece....see what i mean?
