The woman shot a man, drowned him, and finally decided to hang him.
The next day he thanked her for a job well done.

the woman is a photographer, she shot a photo of the man, drowned the negatives in the chemicals in the darkroom, and then hung the shot up to dry to develop the photo. the next day he thanked her for doing a good job on the photo.
