I don't understand this joke. Can someone explain it?!
Question: One day, a man was riding through a deserted prairie. He came to a village and found there had been a massacre. Only one man was alive, and he had a big dagger in his chest. His rescuer went to help him and asked, "Does it hurt?"
The man replied, "Only when I laugh."

That man killed all those people and the tried to kill himself.
Now he's laughing becuase dead people must be funny to him. But a dagger in your chest pretty much equals pain.
Well it hurts to laugh when you have a dagger in your chest...
i dont get it either but dont make the guy laugh
me and you both buddy
I think that it's sarcasm. Of course it would hurt and the man was silly to ask such a stupid question. It sounds like a silly plot to a scene in a movie or skit show.
He was being a smart@rse (or facetious if u like bigger words).
Would you consider a dagger in the chest painful? Yes, most people would. So he asked an obvious question and got a smart@rse response....the "humour" is in why would a man lying there with a BIG dagger in his chest actually consider larfing?? Of course it bl**dy hurts.
It is funny because it is innapropriate. You expect the wounded man to say "Heck yess you moron get me to the doctor!"
funny you get a star
Why would he have anything to laugh about after being in a massacre and the dagger in his chest.
isnt a good joke.......dont care to laugh....
nope cant explain it
