A fun probability question - I weighed a month's worth of pocket change (pen!
Question: guess how much all of the change weighed?
Given - random distribution of change, I didn't spend any of the dimes or pennies or nickels, but there were NO quarters. You would expect the most quantity of pennies, the second most dimes, and the least nickels, because that's how change works.
The total value of the pile of money was $8.62.
One dime weighs 2.268 grams, one nickel weighs 5.0 grams, one penny weighs 2.5 grams.
Whoever gets the closest wins 10 points !! And maybe you'll get a shiny penny too.
