I haven't got a valentine
But please don't think I care
Though every time I've looked for one
There's been nobody there.
There's a Sadie's dance on Doomsday
But I can't go, for fear
I won't have the guts to ask him--
But he'll go, and I'll stay here.
There'll be dancing on my spirit
And ten arrows through my heart
By the time this year is over
And before the next one starts.

compared to some of the other poems on here it's like a shakespeare
I hope it was written in Iambic pentameter, though! :)

if you can spend some of your dimes
wow, that was really good. just one little thing (not trying to be a critic) maybe change the nobody in the fourth line of the first stanza to no-one, just to keep the rythm... but wow, that was really deep.
