I don"t know rather the sailor lied
He told of a girl....

A Sailor told me a tale as he died
I don't know whether the Sailor had lied
He told of a Girl, that was out of his past
He knew from the start, the love would not last
His friends warned him, that she had a beau
He really didn't care, as he loved her so
He told him to never see her again
But he was in love, his heart was in pain
They started to fight, he was doin his best
When he pulled a knife, put the blade in his chest
As he lay dying........
Who married a sea lion
and the sea lion was gay
after the wedding
the sea lion was prey
the Orca has come to take him away
alas the girl now dark and drey
said it was tis', the warm middle of may.
which unfortunately was very gloomy and gray
which was really bad to the girl's dismay
"what has happened to the wonderful day
that I knew of when the sea lion was not prey
but on this fine day of may there the girl lay
with nothing to say
but my sea lion died in the bay
I was so sad in the night
Then something popped up in the sky and came light
