When is the last time when you got scared when you thought of the "what ifs!
Question: Me? About 4 o'clock this morning when I woke up to my pants being pulled down in the back and being given a smack...FORTUNATELY it was my kids' father(who doesn't live here but...lonnnng story. Anyway, he's allowed.)
I could have SWORN that I locked the front door!!!
I don't live in a HORRIBLE neighborhood, but I don't live in a great one.

that is scary, real scary. they just caught a rapist here who was sneaking into homes during the night and raping women. PLEASE always check your doors! i'm so glad it was just your man! break ins and rapes can happen in the best neighborhoods.
I think of the "what ifs" all the time now. I have had two sons murdered and it scares me to even think about that.
I used to think about whatif's all the time usually at 4 a.m. but now I found prozac and it doesnt bother me at all.
Oh wow. um not sure I have one even close to that.
Come to think of it though...I've NEVER been woken up at night..though I have done the waking.
Sigh.....I am so pathetic it depresses even me..

what a lucky guy.....any way, I dont really let the" what ifs " bother me because I've learned that most of the time they dont happen its the ones that you don't think about that happen
Ooo that was bad. I thought "what if" and got scared the last time I was on the road riding behind one of those car carriers. Those cars just wobble around too much for me to feel safe back there! Glad yours turned out to be a friend!
Reminds me of the time that my sister made an unannounced visit to my place and my daughter picked her up from the airport and let her in. I was in a dead sleep and it was about 10:30 at night when someone gently grabbed me. Scared me to death but I did think....what if it were some random man that came to kill me? I wouldn't be here on YA answering question and what not with all of you.
