How can each one have a complete apple?!

One kid takes the basket with the apple in it,You didn't say the apple had to be taken out of the basket.

either the first answer or one kids sits in the basket with the apple, never sed how big the basket was...

You are one of the kids and each kid takes 1 (equals 4) and the one left in the basket is yours!

4 kids take the apple from the basket n d 5th can take an apple frm the refrigerator.. nvr sed u cant take 1 frm d fridge!!!
