The supposed answer is "nothing". However, it seems very naive to assume rich people need nothing, or that poor people have nothing. Dead people have nothing, poor people have their lives. Also, you can survive eating and drinking nothing with intravenous feeding.
I'd go further, but religious enthusiasts would eat me alive.
