He had been on a hot air balloon that was going down and all of the people on it had to talk their clothes off to take off some weigt. They threw them out of the balloon and it was still too heavy so they drew straws to see who had to jump out. This man got the short end of the straw. He jumped out and the straws came with him. As for your riddle, did he jump out of a plane witha parachute but it didn't come out or he didn't activate it because of a medical issues or he committed suicide and pretended he would activate it. I truely have no idea!

the one who killed him must have kiled him there but after some time due to wind and sand the footsteps are erased. the killer is smart and so he purposely kiled him in a place where there'l b no evidence of a murder.
