Question: Can anyone help with this puzzler?? It bugging me
There are 3 words in the English Language that end in "gry". One is angry the other is hungry. Everyone knows what the third one means and what it stands for. Everyone uses them everyday and is you looked very carefully I've given you the 3rd word. What is it???

there are only three words in "THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE" get it not literally the language English.
language. because there are three words,(note these words are ''the english language''.) the is the first. english is the second, and language is the third. the other things are to mislead you like a riddle

The answer is language.
It is the third word of "the English language". The question needs to be spoken, otherwise the quotation marks give away the trick. This version apparently originated in 1996.

i freaking hate this riddle!!
There are actualy hundreds of words that end in 'gry' such as aggry and meagry which are not found in the common vanacular. Tere are even more that end with that sound. There are several different verions of this riddle and depending on the verson the answer will change. Also this is riddle that has to be spoken. For example one version you say 'gry' not G R Y, so the answer is aggree. Another version emphazises the english language so the answer is language.
