Question: A woman was at an expensive and prestigious dinner party. The first course was soup. Halfway through this course, she called over a waiter and whispered in his ear. He brought a drinking straw which she used to finish her soup. The other guests were surprised by her actions, but she had a good explanation. What was it?

The soup kept falling off her spoon so she drank it through a straw.

a drink costs less than the soup. so having it with a straw makes it cheaper. I have no idea.
Well the soup was falling off her spoon so she used a straw!
1. Perhaps the soup was too hot! Drinking it through a straw would help!!!
2. She ate all the goodies with the spoon and when none were left she drank the liquid part through the straw!!!
3. She was not going to have anything more after the soup so she drank it with the proverbial 'last straw’!!!
