Seems to me a magical being-
Twisting, running, undulating, assuming
Settling and living, but never removing
From a single, solitary position
Speaking volumes without uttering a sound.

"And then suddenly, a startling circumstance,
A branch tired and frail snaps, breaking the silence.
Weary from being much too long in existence
Many a bird and squirrel having graced its presence.
But hope prevails as a new sprig is emerging,
Like those before it, assuming, settling and living.
A sign that with the breeze of Spring arriving
The magical being continues ... twisting, running, surviving ..."
