Thlan-vire-poolth-guin-gill -go-ger-u-queern- drob-oollth-thlandus-ilio-gogo -gohck (I had to put spaces in my answer, cos it was too long and just had continuation marks instead!!)
(it's hard to write a pronunciation for the last syllable..I'm trying to find something to rhyme it with atm..watch this space > [ ]

try saying that when youve had a few beers.
dunno sorry
just get pissed drunk, stick some fingers down your throat, try puking and then with the puke will come the sound.....lol no offense
they say double l's wierdly like a gutral spitting sound and double d's are pronounced as a 'th' sound i think
did you know number 5 in welsh is pimp haha
:P
How about Lan for short? lol
the LL needs to be pronounced from the side of your mouth.
It sort of sound crackly if that makes sense.
The rest is kind of read as it is written
Hi there this is how it is pronounced:
Lan-vire-poolth-guin-gill-go-ger-u-
queern-drob-ooll-hlandus-ilio-gogo
-goch
its normally called lanvire
I think you′d say "I live there"
I am from "there"
Well, i would pronounce it " Llanfair PG "
Looks like Wayne got it!..:) Good Question.
And I thought foreigners had it bad with *my* language ...
just point and say over that way
I am not even going to attempt it and I am sober. lol
LMSUIAO CHLAN---- CHLAN-----CHLAN Aw Bugger it just get the beers in
The trouble is the english language doesn't have the ability to pronounce some of the welsh alphabet eg.
Ll, or ch, are far throatier than they look and ng is just beyond comprehension.
You cannot change Ll to thl as the tongue is in between your teeth to pronounce th but is against the roof of your mouth to pronounce Ll.
Ch is more of a sound you make when mimicking a coffee machine, and similar to how the scottish say loch, than the ch in cherry.
i have been there. i live in wales. The closest i can get you to say in english is:
thlan- vire- poock- gwin- gick- go -gerrick -kon- drob- uck- thlan -dee- silly- o- go- go- goke
and thats the whole word/name. did u now theres a song in welsh to remember the name/word
hope i helped (:
