Question: a school bus goes around a school and picks up 20 kids
it goes around again and it drops of 10 and picks up 30
goes around again and pics up 20 and drops of 40
again it it drops of 15 and picks up 20
how many times did the school bus go around the school?

hehe I feel a bit stupid at the moment...I got a caculator out for you, haha no problem and yes i was counting the kids and it went around 4 times but it ended up with 25 kids

Technicaly 3 times because you didn't specify on the last sentance that it went around. You just said, "again it it drops of 15 and picks up 20".
But if your not being technical then 4.
And no I didn't count the kids. I make it a habit to read the whole problem before I start doing the math.
