A man and a woman get married.?!
Question: On the day of they moved in together his wife place a large trunk at the bottom of their bed. "We shall have a long happy marriage if you never look in the trunk."
The chap thinks this is a small price to pay for a life of happiness so he agrees.
Only after 10 years of marriage he gets tempted one morning. He undoes one of the catches but feels too guilty and decides it would be too much of a betrayal and leaves it.
Another 10 years go by before the man gets tempted again. This time he undoes both catches but feels guilty before lifting the lid. He decides to leave it again.
Ten more happy years pass until after 30 years of marriage he cannot take the suspense any longer. He undoes both catches and lifts the lid.
To his surprise he finds 4 eggs and $800.
He waits until his wife comes home and confesses all.
She looks disappointed but forgives him.
"I just have to ask" says the man, "why do you have 4 eggs in a trunk"
