How long would it take to count to 1 billion if it took a second to count to eac!

Question: 31 years, 251 days, 7 hours, 46 minutes, and 39 seconds to count to 1 billion.

To count to 1 billion would take 999,999,999 seconds, because the timer would start as soon as the person says "one", one second would
have passed when the person says "two," and so on.

Now, there are 31557600 seconds in one year
(seconds*minutes*hours*days). Divide 999,999,999 by that figure for the number of years. Then divide the remainder (which has to be less then a year) by the number of seconds in a day for the number of days.
If you keep doing this, eventually you get down to the number of minutes, and the remainder of that will give you the number of seconds.

1 billion seconds.

1 billion seconds. divided by 60 will get hours

31 years

259 days

1 Hour, 46minutes & 40 seconds

1 billion seconds

1billion seconds/ 16666666.67 minutes/ 277777.7778 hours/ 11574.07407 days/ 1653.439153 weeks/ 413.3597884 months/34.44664903 years Hope That helps :)

1 Billion divided by 60 gives you minutes divided by 60 gives u hours divided by 24 gives u days divided by 7 gives u weeks divided by 4 gives u months divided by 12 gives you years and so on

31.7 years approximately

you could have done this yourself using the calculator on your PC

i billion seconds?????is this the right answer

1,000,000,001 secs if u include 0 =]

oh and cubfan and steven u might wanna check ur math...

omfg y doesn't anyone ever include 0?!?!?!?!?! it's a number just like every other number!!

1 billion seconds, which is 31 years, 251 days, 7 hours, 46 minutes and 39 seconds.

Although it would take a lot longer than a second as try counting from ninetyseven million seven hundred and seventy seven thousand seven hundred and sixy six to ninetyseven million seven hundred and seventy seven thousand seven hundred and seventy six, taking one second to count each number!

It will take one billion and one seconds to count to each oth from one time to each other as describeder.Otherwise,it will take 2,777,777 Hrs and a second or115,740 days and a second or 3,858 months or 321 years.

but wait can you say 973,359,713 in less than a second, so basically you can't count to 1 billion in 1 billion seconds

forever !
