Question: and she asked me a couple of times to get her a drink when I was on break. I forgot to do it and to make it worse I accidently spent her money. I returned it promptly and she had good humor about it.

how do you accidently spend her money??....i mean what was it enough change for the vending machine??..if so...just pay back what ya owe...if it were that serious....you would have done the correct thing the first time.....
I dont think she cares. A lady I work with asked for Wheat Thins and I bought Triscuits. She was cool with it!

i would avoid doing that. That would look like you're in a bar. I highly suggest that you buy her a nice cold starbucks latte. and to make you look good i would say you buy urself one too. i hope this helps you.
depends on what kind of drink she was planning on getting... it would be a nice gesture to just buy her her next drink next time.. you really dont have to go all out... you did return the money....
