When I first got the internet, it was mid 90s. I was so excited, I'd finally made it into a chat room! Now, it seemed like everyone was speaking a whole different language... and I was lost =/ I remember asking the same question, "What's LOL?" I distinctly remember other chatters asking the room moderator to direct me to a 'beginner's room' (which I'm pretty sure was a nice way to say "idiot's room". Nonetheless, you are definetly NOT alone! And at least people answered your question nicely! ROFL (rolling on floor laughing) :o)
Its not just you hun, i didnt have a clue when a friend of mine put it in her txt to me!! But i know them all now because i have a 13yr old daughter who taught me!!! LOLOLOL.
