I've seen it written 10 without the space, too, Really throws off people who don't know Binary.
For those of you binary-impaired folks, binary just has 2 digits, 0 and 1. instead of the 100's , 10's and 1's place, you have 4,2,and 1 places, so the number 2 is "10" and the number 7 is "111".
Computers do EVERYTHING in binary. The pictures you see on your computer are nothing more than a bunch of 1's and 0's.
