Who manages to solve this puzzle?!

Question: Here it is: a man is looking for a particular kind of frogs in a marsh. It starts to rain, but the man goes on with his search. When the rain gets harder, the man cries: "So much the worse for you!" and leaves with his boat. Why does the man act like this? (it's lateral thinking!).

The man is Noah!!! He is trying to find two of every kind of frog and couldn't. So the frogs became extinct in the flood.

I don't know that answer I'm no good at riddles.

The rain would cause the frogs to get out of the water and so he could just go on land and look for his special frog.

Maybe? That is the only thing i can think of! Wait i thought of another possibilty!

What if the man was really stupid and he thought that the rain drops hitting the water are frogs jumping and he left to get his net?

I agree with Sage B = he's Noah and saying that the frogs are going to die in the flood
