Answers: Brain teaser!
There are 7 girls on a bus
Each girl has 7 backpacks
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats
For every big cat there are 7 little cats
Question: How many legs are there in the bus?
7 little cats=28
each big cat has 7 little cats (28 legs) 7*28=196
each backpack has 7 big cats (196 legs) 7*196=1372
each girl has 7 backpacks (1372 legs) 7*1372=9604
backpacks and contents 9604+1372=10976
each girl 14
Total 10990 legs
112 legs
14 The cats have paws
is it 63
9604+1372+14=
10990 legs
10960
10962 if u count the busdriver
14 if its just the girls and 16 if theyre a bus driver
9618 feet all in my head so i probably made a mistake
and people above y would u count the backepacks?
7 girls = 14 legs
7 girls*7 backpacks*7 big cats =343 big cats *4 legs=1372 big cat legs
343 big cats * 7 little cats=2401 little cats *4 legs=9604 little cat legs
14 girls' legs + 1372 big cat legs + 9604 little cat legs =10990 legs on the bus, if there is no bus driver and are no other people or other animals, bugs, etc., and assuming all the girls and cats have the normal number of legs.
And assuming the "on" in the first line means the same as "in the bus" in the question, and that all the backpacks are on the bus..
I don't get the point either! If the prepositions were reversed, and the first line was "in" and the question was "on the bus", we could say "none because a bus doesn't have legs." Maybe the riddle is misstated.
It's 10,990 legs. I recently heard this and I was really confused until I read that part where it says EACH girl has 7 backpacks.
I think those girls are mental for carrying 7 backpacks around.
ouch. I think my brain is bleeding. I do know that there's an awful lot of kitty on that bus.
buses don't have legs... ooh yeah!
