I hate the character because of the awful things that he does to all of the other characters in the book (as old Voldy), however, without him, the story would be awfully boring, and there wouldn't be the famous "Boy Who Lived".
it's part of the excitement of the book, but yes, i do hate tom riddle. he's a really unique and interesting guy, i'd have to admit
Well the character is what makes the book cool. without it it would be boring and there will be no excitement just a normal harry with no scar with parents and no adventure. so if u like boring books then go ahead. So yes i like the character but i despite him too.

I like him. Every story has to have it's Scum. He's good scum. He's the guy you hate which means he's doing his job well.
