The owners of the store were understandably surprised at the verdict, considering the misbehaving little brat was Ms. Robertson's son.
2. June 1998: A 19 year old Carl Truman of Los Angeles won $74,000 and medical expenses when his neighbor ran over his hand with a Honda Accord. Mr. Truman apparently didn't notice there was someone at the wheel of the car, when he was trying to steal his neighbor's hubcaps.

Those would be hilarious, except that those money-grubbing idiots actually won their cases..! All I can do it shake my head in disbelief at the way the world is degrading.
I've got it... I will sue all those people for the "mental anguish" they have caused me at the state of the world...!
Even that would be funny, except that there could be people out there right now, thinking it is a great idea, and try it, winning millions.
Hmmm, how about a class action suit, so those people have to pay ALL of us some cash...
The lamest, most pathetic ones are the ones like the case where the woman tripped over her own child and sued the store (and won)!
Who ARE the biggest idiots, -the people who sued, or the half-wits on the bench or jury who awarded those settlements? There should be special awards just for them.
