years ago ,when working on a greek taverna,on commision,IE my wages would come from a percentage of the days takings, people used to ask me for a traditional greek dish, mousaka. Now this food was prepared ,say on monday, and 3-4 days later it would look 3-4 days old.so the chef would skim the top off, bechamel sauce, and put new sauce on,so it looked fresh.I used to whisper to my customers, don't go for the mousaka as it is as old as the acropolis.Have some fresh fish instead(at 10 times the price!)
I would feel good for myself as I was being honest and making more money at the same time...!

hahaha

There is many a true word spoken in jest, what might seem in jest to the observer in this instance, to Silly Billy, Du Joir meant soup, to him it could have meant anything, such as soup without gravy for instance.
( the things we say for two points)

I'm not very good at French so I don't understand what the problem is.

better drink half's lol.
