Question: there r these 3 guys, theyre from brittish colombia, and r going 2 seskatchewan, but they go way too far and end up in ontario, so they need a place 2 stay 4 the night b4 they go bak, and they go 2 a hotel, they ask 4 a room, and the owner says all his rooms r full, they say they rly need somewhere to stay so the owner says he can let them stay in this rly crappy room tht he usually doesnt rent to ppl for $30 ($10 each), they agree, they pay and go 2 their room, the owner starts thinking and thinks he wasnt fair by charging $30, so he tells 1 of the room service guys 2 go give them $5, the room service guy decides 2 make a profit off this, so instead he goes and gives them each $1 each, and keeps 2 for himself, so, theyve each paid $9 now, which adds up to $27, and the other guy took $2 27 + 2 = 29, wat happened 2 the other dollar?

ermmmm... the other dollar was the one that the ghost in the corner got, they thought it was a roomate..
but now its gna kill them all :P
They paid the manager $25, the bell boy $2, and each received a dollar back. 25+3+2= 30. Just wording missplaced.
Perhaps when you said "so he tells 1 of the room service guys 2 go give them $5" he might have meant give them $5 each. I dunno. Just guessing. I like this riddle. I'll give it a star

What that first girl said, but don't use numbers in place of words, like "going 2 seskatewan". that just makes you look un-intelligent. use proper english, please. And that goes for the rest of you who do it! it isn't hard to type the word "to", or "for" for crying out loud!

The service guy has their 2 dollars. He should have given each of the 3 travellers $1.67($5/3=1.66666) back. By giving them $1 instead, he pocketed $2(3 x $0.67). The $27 + $2=29 is meaningless and doesn't have anything to do with the right cost of the room. If the room had originally been $50 and the hotel owner dropped the price $15 or some larger number, you would see that what the service guy pockets is what's missing.
