I think you might be talking about this riddle.........
1. Pick a Number between 1 and 10.
2. Multiply that Number by 9.
3. If the Answer is two digits, add them together.
4. Subtract 5 from the Result.
5. Convert the answer to a letter of theAlphabet...1=A 2=B 3=C etc
6. Now think of a European Country that begins with that letter.
7. Now think of an Animal that begins with the last letter of the Country.
8. Now think of a Color that begins with the last letter of the animal.
And then they say there are no orange kangaroos in denmark.

apparently it's a tasteless joke and you shouldn't be worrying about it.
here's what it is:
have someone pick a single digit number (1-9) without telling you. tell them to multiply their number by 9. then tell them to add the 2 digits of their number together. then with their new number, subtract five. now, with this number, tell them to translate it into a letter (they should have the #4 no matter what now, so 1=A 2=B 3=C and 4=D). So now they have the letter 'D' in their head. then you tell them to pick a country starting with their letter. They will %99 percent of the time pick Denmark. then tell them to pick an animal that starts with last letter of their country. they will probly pick kangaroo. (optional-tell them to pick animal starting with 2nd letter, it'll probly be elephant). now, tell them you know what they picked. "denmark and kangaroo!"
I'm sure there's more than one version, but here's 1 to try.
First force them to come up with the number 4 by doing some bogus math trick like pick a number from 1--10. Multiply it by 9. Add the 2 digits together(if it has 2 digits in the answer). Subtract 5. This will always leave 4 as the number.
Now tell them to count from "A" using the number that was the answer till they get to the right letter. This will always be "D".
Now ask them to think of a country that starts with that letter. They will invariably pick Denmark.
Now tell them to take the 2nd letter in that country's name("E") and think of an animal that begins with that letter.
Now tell them the animal they are thinking of is an Elephant.
Do this smoothly and fairly quickly and it will work.
