jack, john, and james walk into a hotel. They are the only people in the hotel except for the owner. The electricity gets shut off and the owners prized ruby ends up missing. the owner gathers the men together and tells them he knows one of them did it and he can prove it. He gives them three sticks of equall length and tells them that they are guilt sticks, they will grow one inch to whomever holds it that is guilty. the men go to sleep and in the morning present their sticks, none of them is bigger, however the owner is sure its jack who stole the ruby, how can he be sure?
