Puzzle, need help!?!

Question: Okay, so there is this drawing that is not supposed to be impossible to draw. It is hard to explain so let me try. There is a square. Diagnally in the square is 2 lines making an X in the middle. On the top, bottom, and both sides there is triangles. You are supposed to be able to draw this figure without having to take your pencil off the paper and also without repeating any of the lines. Does anybody have any idea what I am talking about and if so how do you do it? It is depriving me of sleep and driving me completely to insanity. Help me out please?!

It can also be done by folding the paper when you are going to repeat a line.

It isn't cheating because it isn't in the rules.

It is possible.
Google, box and triangle puzzle.
It should give you a solution.
But be warned...that'll take the fun out of it :)

dont no

tried for all of thirty seconds and couldn't be bothered anymore. it can be done cos i did it when i was younger! good luck!

yes it is like a square box with a triangle on the top.
draw a line across the page from left to right.
now draw a line upwards towards the top of the ;page.
then left to make a box without a side.
diagonally up , then diagonally down from left to right. and you will touch the vertical line at the right hand side.
then diagonally down from top right corner to bottom left-hand corner (where you started off)
there will space for another vertical line on the left of the box.
draw that going upwards, you can now go down diagonally from the top of that line (which now forms a box) and go down again diagonally from left top to bottom right till you have completed the diagram.

YEA.. THAT IS PRETTY HARD.... I THOUGHT THAT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO DO IT... NOT AS EASY AS IT SEEMS.... MY HUSBAND IS AN ART EXPERT... LET ME CALL HIM....HMM???NOW YOU GOT ME HOOKED.

heavymetal got it but its not as hard as u think

Starting at the lower rt hand corner, draw a diagonal to the left, a straight right line, a downward diagonal to the lower left hand corner, then up the side, hit the peak, down the peak down the side and across the bottom.

you want to picture drawing a square...
now start at the bottom left corner of your square, and draw a line straight up.
then, without picking up the pencil, go diagonally down to the right bottom corner of you square...
then move straight up to the top right corner.
then move left connecting with the top left corner.
then go diagonally up to the right, then diagonally down to the right, connecting back to your top right corner of the square. this will be your triangle on top of the square. then move diagonally down to the left bottom corner, completing the 'x' in the middle. then your last line is straight to the right, connecting to your bottom right corner. try it, it works... there are a couple of other ways to do it, but this is the one that i know. have fun!

It is impossible to do it as you describe with triangles on all four sides without taking the pencil from the paper. The original puzzle is just to have one triangle on one of the sides which others have already put how to solve.
