The festive season?!
Question: Santa was getting ready for his annual trip, but there were problems everywhere. Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves could not produce the toys as fast as the sick elves. Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of running behind schedule.
Then Mrs Claus told Santa that her mum was going to come and stay for theholiday.
This stressed Santa even more. When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where.
More stress. Then he began to load his sleigh, when one of the boards cracked and the toy sack fell to the floor, scattering toys everywhere.
Totally frustrated, Santa went back in his house for a cup of tea and a glass of sherry.
When he went to his drinks cabinet, he found the elves had drunk all his booze and there was nothing left to drink.
In his frustration, he dropped his favourite teapot, which shattered into a thousand pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get his broom to sweep the bits up, only to find that mice had eaten the straw off the end of it.
Just then the doorbell rang, and Santa cursed and swore on his way to answer the door. He opened the door to see a little fairy, with an enormous Christmas tree.
The fairy said "Isn't it a lovely day Santa? I brought you this lovely Christmas tree....
...And that, my friends, is how the fairy came to be on top of the Christmas tree !!!!!!
