it think it was the footprint on the snow and i think the snow is the clue

The young man has 4 spots
Hes crawling cuz hes a baby
SO the woman did it cuz theres 2 spots

The young mans feet were larger than the tracks,
The old man carried a cane,
The young woman's dress left drag marks in the snow.
