Where's the missing dollar?!

Question: 3 guys get a hotel room, they pay $30, which is only $10 a peice. later, the owner of the hotel tells the bell hop, the room is only $25.he then tells the bell hop to give them the $ 5 back. well $ 5 cannot be split evenly 3 ways, so he puts $2 in his pocket, and gives each guy $ 1 back. so now, each guy only had to pay $9 a piece, that's $27, the bell hop kept $ 2. where's the missing $1?

It's all in the way you pose the question. You are taking bits from each side of the equation and making it look like they are from the same side. I love to get people with this one as well and it works a treat.

Hmmmmm that is a good one!!

Each person payed $9, which totals to $27. They overpaid for the room by $2, so the missing dollar is in the bellhop's pocket!

THE MISSING DOLLAR IS FROM THE NUMBER 27 BECAUSE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 28 THE MISSING DOLLAR IS AT THE BOTTOM OF UR JOKE

Well you just have to realize that the room was only 25 total and they tipped the bellhop $2.

I bet if it was in your *** you would know where it was...

good one!
