I agree that when love happens, feelings can't be helped but did he have to send that letter knowing that it would be read out on air? When he left the jungle and heard that his girlfriend had flown home, he asked to fly home immediately - giving the impression to the viewers that he wasn't a complete b***ard and was sorry and wanted to put things right as she was more important to him. However, just days later he's humiliating the poor girl further by conducting this farce (again) in the public eye! Why couldn't he have sent the letter to the hotel so Cerys can read it when she gets out? Because it's publicity for his ailing career! I hope he sinks!!!

Has it occurred to you that Marc and his (now ex) girlfriend may have planned this together to help both their careers? She's sold the story to a down market tabloid and he's publicly come out with this letter. C'mon, if any of this was genuine they wouldn't be airing all this so publicly. Call me cycnical...
Yeah but she didn't waste any time making it known that she had a story to sell did she. On arrival in Aus if I remember correctly.

I think the whole thing is a publicity stunt, his girlfriend when she arrived in Australia knew exactly how to work the press, she had it all worked out.

I'm not sure, it's a funny one. At the end of the day if his relationship was OK with the girlfriend he would never had come on so strong with Cerys in the first place. I think he really likes Cerys but I totally agree with you he should have left a personal letter for her at her hotel. Not nice, but then it is never easy to handle these kind of situations when you are in the lime light and think you are in love (whether attached or not). This is the time when people make mistakes and he definitely needs a good smack for putting his girlfriend though that.

Generally agree with you but as it was all part of the programme it is quite obvious that the programme producers/directors were party to this letter and must have set up the whole situation. It is quite possible that the whole thing was PLANNED from the start for him to make a play for her. Had this not been the case then why, when all the others were allowed just one letter did she get two. How did he write the letter as he was on his way to London by then. So he must have done it before he left or dictated over the phone to the programme makers.
the whole nature of the programme is to bring so called 'celebrities' back into the public view to boost their slack or non existant career..at the end of the day they can all do as they wish..but i think it's rich that his ex has to follow cerys music literally...all together now..it's all over the front page la la la lol..more important than all this is are u as fed up hearing how u might be charged for ur call although it won't count..i bet ant and dec are sick of saying it..and as for the yank..oh man!!
