The telephone book.

Nice question, its got me thinking...

1. Justice (i.e the law was once owned by the wealthy, and today its owned by the people ...in theory)

2. The Stock Exchange (again in theory everyone can now buy shares)

3. A book of matches ...once a luxury, but now anyone can afford them

(by the way if i wanted a light read, should I buy a book of matches!!!)

and finally:
4. Buck ...a male deer, once the preserve of kings and noblemen, but now (almost) anyone you can buy venison from the high street.
