yahhh i get first answer=BEST ANSWER

yahhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

It will take five trips.

1. The two boys cross together, and one comes back.
2. The mother rows across and the boy who was waiting alone, rows back.
3. The two boys cross together again. One stays with his mother and the other rows back to his waiting father.
4. Then the father rows across and joins his wife. The boy who was waiting with his mother then rows back to where his brother is waiting.
5. The two boys row back and join their parents

sons take the boat, man and wife swims.

uh...3 trips and idk

the parents each take a seperate trip and the two sons ride together. so 3 trips

ORR

they can find a new boat =)

1st put the 2 sons on the boat, one will get off on the other side and the other will row back and get the mom. The son will get off and the mom will row across. The son [[on the side the mom is now on]] will row back to the beginning point, get off, [[on the side with his dad and brother]] the dad will row across to get to the finish side with the mom. then the two boys will once again row there together. All will be on the finishing point.

Trips: 7

One. Swim!

1 TIME MAN ROWS THE BOAT THE REST GET TOWED

The 2 sons go across, and son-a leaves son-b on the other side and returns to the boat to the original shore. The Father then rows across and son-b returns with the boat. The two sons both return to the opposite shore, son-a leaving son-b and returning for the mother. The mother then rows herself across, so that son-b can return to retrieve son-a. This leaves everyone on the correct side, so the total number of trips across the river is: 9

2 sons ->
<- 1 son
Father ->
<- 1 son
2 sons ->
<- 1 son
Mother->
<- 1 son
-> 2 sons

The 2 sons go together the first time. One son gets off. The other stays on and rides the boat back to the other side. (2) The son gets off, and the wife gets on, and rides to the other side. The son gets on and rides back. (4) The 2 sons get back on together, the one son gets off, the other stays. The one son goes back, and the dad gets on. (6) The other son gets on, and goes to the other side and gets the other son. 8!! I hope I get best answer! PLZ!!

THE 2 KIDS go first 1goes back the man goes alone the kid brings it back the woman goes alone im lost

7 trips

They all get a trip together.. to the police station. Just because you see a boat don't mean you can take it. I get best and most honest answer.

well the river could be frozen and they could drag the boat across, it would only take 1 trip.
