Do you ever think that psychiatrists don't want you to get too well?!

Question: If they made you better, the'd be losing out on a few bucks?
Do you think they make you better....but enough so you don't have to go back?

I think that in the process of healing one issue they create a whole other issue that generally grooves on insecurity and co dependence

Well, I am sure that those quacks in the psychiatry field never want us to be better enough to stop seeing them, but here is something to ponder.... What if the "sane" people were actually the crazy ones, and the "crazy ones" were really the sane ones?

i know this is true from my own experience. a few years back my parents actually took me to a psychiatrist, and not only did she not help me solve my problems but she aroused several new issues with my parents and friends. to add insult to injury, she charged over $100 for one hour sessions!

the thing that really bothered me about this was that my parents ate it up. they took everything she said so seriously and refused to believe that she was actually the new source of problems. i think the public in general is like my parents- naive, wanting to believe these shrinks are here to help. however, its really a money making enterprise, just like all other jobs in the U.S. they don't actually give a **** about who you are.
