Kenneth Williams saying "OOOO Matron" in 'Carry on Nurse' has got too be one of the most classic scenes of them all! And the expressions on his face.................... Oh and I LOVED Sid James too in ANY film............. He reminds me of my Grandad!
Plus who could forget Charles Hawtry sat in a hospital bed pretending to play the piano and getting so carried away he nearly fell out of bed! Brilliant.................

(edit) Twenty-nine original films and one compilation film were made between 1958 and 1978 at Pinewood Studios, with an additional film made in 1992.
I actually don't have a specific favourite. I just loved the "pained" expressions that Sid James would get! His face always reminded me of a Basset Hound dog!
As for how many films were made. According to Wikipedia 29 original films plus one compilation film were made between 1958-1978 and an additional final film was made in 1992.
