Thumbs down its not funny yes or no?!
Question: i have noticed that a lot of thumb downs on peoples answers for no apparent reason are the trolls out again lets start giving thumbs up to the answers we feel are OK and only thumb down the ones that are not its time for us to stop this after all we come on the jokes and riddles section for a laugh not to upset people do you agree

I am not here long enough to know about the thumbs thing. I agree this category is for a good laugh. That is why I am here. I like a good laugh.

just so that i understand if a person is rude or insulting we can give them a thumbs down, i only ever give thumbs up i dont see the point of giving thumbs down, if i think that a person is being out of order i just dont give them a thumbs up, i dont put thumbs down, if you know what i mean!
if everyone took this point of view, answers would be a better place

if you upset someone on this place,I think they put you on their watch list and would thumb you down even if you said hey its tuesday....on a tuesday !!! Now some are easily offended,others are unreasonable and others just plain nasty,dont let it bother you.By asking this question you making them happy as it shows they managed to bother you.

I posted jokes this morning and everyone of my answers got a lot of thumbs down. The trolls need to get a life. If they don't like what I post then they should ignore it. I never thumb anyone down cos everyone is entitle to their opinion.

Some people don't use the thumbs button properly. Time and time again I see good answers getting loads of thumbs down. I don't understand why people are abusing the system in the first place. If they don't like the question then they should not answer.

I understood what you said after figuring out where the punctuation was supposed to go, and I think all the thumbs down are silly, but it doesn't make me upset. The trolls are pretty easily amused and lazy, this is the laziest way for them to upset someone(instead of forming an opinion of their own), and it's working on you.

These are the reasons tha people give thumbs down, and my GEUSS of the average percent of when they are given and for what reason:
1. Jelousy (40%)
2. Honestly do not like what the person wrote (30%)
3. Have different beleifs (20%)
4. Spam (10%)
But I personally enjoy giving people thumbs up because I know it may just make that person's day a iny bit better!
