I figure he could leave the fox with the corn but what do you think.?!

Question: A farmer has to get a fox, a goose, and a bag of corn across a river in a boat that is large enough only for him and one of these items. If he leaves the fox alone with the goose the fox will eat the goose. If he leaves the goose alone with the corn the goose will eat the corn. How does he get all of these items across the river?

1. he brings the goose over
2. he brings the fox over and picks the goose back up and brings the goose back over
3. he sets the goose down and picks up the corn and brings it over
4. he brings the goose over

use a couple of corn as a luring object to make the goose swim across the river and hold the corn on a string so he still has it and keep the fox on the boat...only guess i got thats most likable to happen

take the goose across, leave it there.
take the corn across, take the goose back, take the fox across, leave the fox there. go back and get the goose.

Have the goose eat the corn and the fox eat the goose then take the fox on over. It's maybe not the desired way to get them all across at once but they will all be over on the other side!
OR
Take the corn and tie the goose to the front of the boat and the fox at the back and let them swim across.
