Question: 1. two in a whole and four in a pair and six in a trio, you see? and eight's a quartet, but what you must get is the name that fits one of me. (answer has 4 letters)
2. i cannot be other than what i am until the man who made me dies. power and glory will fall to me, finally, only when he last closes his eyes. (answer has 6 letters)
3. say you'd never seek to lose me while you live we cannot part i must dwell lifelong inside you locked within your heart (answer has 5 letters)

"Half Blood Prince" - the title of the last book - great book by the way

duhhh...prince man i should have got it but i did guess blood
if thats right as the song goes 2 out of 3 aint bad
one is confusing because what they do each time is split the number...6, half is 3 which = trio so on...but one would be a solo if you wanted to stay in the musical region, however 2 split in half is 1 ad they say that's a whole....sooo it's got to be either SOLO or HALF.
I think 2 is Prince, or royalty...like prince william for example, he cant have "power and glory" until the queen dies (his father cant take the throne)
