Well, I'm 41, and I've watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" ever since I was a young boy and, (SPOILER ALERT!!!) sadly, no, the Great Pumpkin never shows. What happens is Snoopy appears out of the pumpkin patch, Sally (Linus's girlfriend and Charlie Brown's sister) gets mad at missing all the trick-or-treating and runs home. Sorry.

Linus was commited to a mental hospital because he was in a pumkin patch waitng for this guy called The Great Pumkin. Took a little girl and let her stay out all night. They had to cart him off in a nice white jacket with a nice padded cell. Kept saying "Its The Great Pumkin. Its The Great Pumkin." Linus had to go away for awhile. Sally never recoveer from missing Tricks or Treats. Charlie Brown went psycho took out Lucy and that red head Freda and a few others. And thats how Its The Great Pumkin Charlie Brown ended. Charlie Brown and Snoopy left with Franklin in his black n red trim Cadillac Escalade.
