How is this a Homicide? (riddle)?!

Question: A librarian works late one night. While she’s re-shelving a book, she hears a huge bang. She runs to the back of the library and there sat a man laying sideways, head down in a puddle of his blood on the table. She screams and runs to call the police. Later, police and investigators arrive on the scene. A well-known and talented detective walks into the library.

The detective walks over to the body and notes that the gun was resting in the victim’s right hand, the bullet hole was in his right temple and the blood splattered to the left onto the table.

The detective also notices sitting on the table across from the victim was a tape recorder, He pressed play and it said. “My name is Samuel Richardson, I’m lonely and unhappy I’m leaving this cruel world to be with all my departed loved ones. I’ll see you all on the other side wherever that may be. (Sound of gunshot).” And the recording was over, and the detective knew that this wasn’t a suicide… How is this a murder?

The killer rewound the tape before leaving.

Um, the librarian did it!
I have no clue. TELL ME TELL ME!!

the tape recorder was ACROSS the table from him.

Somebody stopped the tape.

Because the recording would've kept going if he had killed himself, instead of stopping after the gunshot.

It sounds like it is a suicide

He couldn't stop the tape if he was dead, AND there is no scream on the tape.

he may have had the gun held to his head to make the recording before he was murdered.

The tape was already rewinded....

if the tape recording ended with the sound of the gunshot, who pushed stop? you said the detective had to push play...a suicide would not have been alive the stop the recorder.

Because the recorder had been turned off. He didn't hear the librarian scream.

this is just a guess, but is it because he was on his side and blood splattered oddly? Or is it because of where the tape recorder was placed? Maybe I am wrong on both.

Tape recorder had been rewound to beginning.

cus u cnt record something n jus leave it witout been played or im confused but yea u cnt record something wen ur dead

the victim couldn't turn of the tape recorder after they shot themself

Because the librarian would have heard the guy speaking to the tape recorder before he shot himself. You know, "Silence in the library?"

got me stunned i would say suicide

Who ended the recording? If it was suicide, and the gunshot was heard in the recording as well, then the tape recorder would still be recording until the tape ran out, or until someone pressed stop.

I have to answer this just to be able to find it again, i'm desperate to know the answer.

His head would not be turned down in his blood and who turned the tape recorder off? That is your culprit. So who is it. now, i'm interested.

He didn't have to rewind the tape recorder to listen to it, so someone had to have done it after he died. Which is confusing, because why would you rewind the tape recorder after you've killed someone?
