Question: I know the answer, however just wondering how many people out there knows the answer as well.
As I was going to Saint Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
each wife had seven sacks,
each sack had seven cats,
each cat had seven kittens,
man, wife, sacks, cats and kittens -
How many was going to Saint Ives?

the 'correct' answer is 1.
but really we can't tell. the others might have been going to st ives and you simply met them on the way (e.g. at a fork in the road or on the same bus). The riddle doesn't say that they were going the other way.
Also, there are almost certainly other peple going to St Ives at the same time as you, that aren't mentioned in the story.
