heres a better one. a young newly married couple were finding it difficult to manage their finances and were trying to find a way of making some extra cash. after lengthy discussions and exhausting all the usual methods as not suitable they finally decided that the only option was for the wife to go out "on the game". of course she was not too happy about this, but decided it was necessary to save the marriage. The time arrived for her to start and off she went on to the streets. When she returned home later, her husband asked her how she had got on and how much she had made. "not bad" she replied "and I made ￡47 pounds and 20 pence". "What" said the husband "What lousy bastard gave you 20 pence". "Well" said the wife "They all did"
