Here is one for you to try before going there and looking for the answer:

Three masters of logic wanted to find out who was the wisest one. So they invited the grand master, who took them into a dark room and said: "I will paint each one of you a red or a blue dot on your forehead. When you walk out and you see at least one red point, raise your hands. The one who says what colour is the dot on his own forehead first, wins." Then he painted only red dots on every one. When they went out everybody had their hands up and after a while one of them said: "I have a red dot on my head."
How could he be so sure?

How could he be so sure?
Each man saw two others with red dots, so each raised his hand. Each thought, "I don't know if I have a red dot, because each of the others could have raised his hand because of the other's red dots, and mine could be blue." The wisest one waited for a while, then thought, "Since each is not sure why the other raised his hand, my dot must be red, too."
because the grand master said "i will paint 'each one' of you a red dot or a blue dot on your forehead". so that means that they will all have the same color.
He was the 1 painting the dots i think thats it
uuuhhh... i give up.
when the man that said he had a red dot saw the other two men raise their hands he knew he had a red dot
Is it because he's the only one who acutally SAID "i have a red dot"?
easy! The grand master says, "when you see at least one red point, raise your hands." If everyone raises their hands, then they all saw red dots. Therefore, everyone has red dots, and (unless you're a nobody) you also have a red dot.
The wisest one must have thought like this:
I see all hands up and 2 red dots, so I can have either a blue or a red dot. If I had a blue one, the other 2 guys would see all hands up and one red and one blue dot. So they would have to think that if the second one of them (the other with red dot) sees the same blue dot, then he must see a red dot on the first one with red dot. However, they were both silent (and they are wise), so I have a red dot on my forehead.
