If pinnochio says, "my nose is about to grow" what happens to his nose!

Question: if it doesn't grow...he lied....so his nose grows..

if it grows...he didn't lie....so why did it grow?

Very clever.

But, there may be a possible way out of this conundrum. His nose doesn't grow immediately, because what he said is true. It is "about to grow," just not immediately. After a short time he will probably tell a lie and his nose will grow. We assume that a nose that is smart enough to discern truth from falsehood is smart enough to know that Pinochio has a history of lying and will very likely soon lie again. The nose knows. There is only a problem if Pinocchio never again tells a lie, or we interpret "about to grow" as meaning in the next second or so.

Sorry to try to spoil your joke.
Thanks you made my day, I'll star this question.
Ahhhchhooo!
Oh my, the ultimate Catch 22. Cool

Nothing, until he tells a lie.

Did you know that his girlfriend used to sit on his face and make him tell lies!
haha. nice one. Although if he said that, and it wasn't about to grow, it would then grow because he lied. Right?
he lied and then predicted that his nose would grow after.
You made me stare at your question for 10 minutes!!
