If you were in a car, driving at the speed of light...?!

Question: If you were in a car, driving at the speed of light, and you turned on your headlights... would anything in front of you be illuminated?

yes, i think so. the headlights are IN FRONT of the car. the car has the same speed with the light so the car is not accelerating. nothing in front of the headlights will be illuminated (i think). so i guess that the headlights are the only ones illuminated. well, the headlights are in front of you, right?
ummm...............................haaaa... haaaaa lmao
all i can tell you for certain is that you wouldn't be driving a Skoda or a Volvo.

in answer to your question - Theoretically no.
And exactly where can i purchase such a car??
YES ,my terrified fizzog.
im no genuius but i think it would just look like a white stripe if it was night time obviously
i dont think so, unless you let the light shine in front of you first i think ( i'm not sure about these kind of things)
doubt that I would care
yes? but only right at your headlights, as you're travelling with it. wait, until you reach the.... nvm, yes, just at the headlights.
you're confusing man :P
nope
OK Steven, give it a new twist and ask if you look in the rear view mirror, would the objects appear smaller then they are?
in therory if you travell at the speed of light you go back in time so you wouldnt have created the light yet for you to be able to see :-p
Obviously no because the light is travelling at the same speed as you and will never reach any object before you do.

By the way, do you find it hard to sleep at night by any chance? LOL

While we're on the subject, who wants to talk about time travell? lol
travelling at the speed of light is not possible....

but if it were..then u WILL see the stuff in front of you...cos Einstein's Speed of Light Postulate states that the speed of light is same in all INERTIAL REFERENCE FRAMES....and an in inertial reference frame is a frame moving with a constant velocity with respect to another frame...and Earth is assumed a IRF for all practical purposes....
yes because the headlights are still infront of u . i think...
Dont know about the lights mate , but i was driving at the speed of sound and couldnt hear the radio when i switched it on....
Nice 1....
yes you just would not see it....
is this a joke or a lighthearted question.lol
Yeah but if you aimed your headlights to the rear of the car would you leave the headlights behind?

If your going faster than light ?>
probably not...

on the other hand, I wouldn't overtake it!

*gg*
My head is hurting thinking about it
eventually yes, right after your car bang into something for driving so fast
the tree as it came through the car
i dont think so........
You would have already gone past the spot before it lights up, so NO!
