this is a true incident
well shoaib akhtar( a pakistan fast bowler) was in the news recently as he injured a fellow team mate by hitting him with the bat on his thigh
and heres what he had to say in his defence on a news channel
"i was actually aiming for the ball but i missed by few inches"
