Why do banks charge a fee on " insufficient funds" when they know there is not enough money?


Answers:

For the same reason they charge the higher interest rates to the people who can least afford to pay it.

The rich people have $$, but they get the sweetheart deals at very low rates, while the people who NEED the $$ loan get shafted with super high interest rates.

The rich get richer...
