Do you think this is funny?
My daughter was doing a project at school about Africa.
Her teacher read them a story about a little boy who has to walk many miles to fetch water for his entire family.
The teacher then said " What could be done to help the young boy"? To which my daughter replied " he could move nearer to the tap".

Hey, cooper. I was actually refering to my daughters quick wittedness, not to the fact the children have to carry water.
And no, i certainly don't think that meningitis is funny seeing as how my own child had it at 6 weeks old!!!!!

Cooper: Maybe I missed something, but I don't think the lady mentioned the word MENINGITIS in her question. An innocent wee story about carrying water and in your mind, you managed to make it into something else. Read the bloody questions before you start slighting people!
